Mm.

Light intensity?

You could put ANYTHING there and just say "yup, more of that makes her boobs grow".

Whilst the artist's drawing skill is good, this pic is yet another bland anime pic about boobs.

Jcdr responds:

I get your point there, but it's what I like to draw :/

Nothing constructive ...

Keep up the awesome work, Kamikaye.

Kamikaye responds:

thx, Im on it ;)

eep

Epic job man; really like the axial layout coupled with the "halos", and the colours running from hot to cold.

Kamikaye responds:

Thx :D woho someone noticed !

Yup

Yeah, I agree with Rananas. Tne linework and shading is great, and I was looking forward to what you're going to produce. I really like the mottled brown colours you've used as well. Now I think of it, the bobots in the back remind me of Goya.

However, it's pretty difficult to distinguish the body of the robot and the bird from the surroundings, simply because there's not enough contrast. Nae's solution is about right.

Also it's very difficult for robots to connvey emotion, since their features don't move. However, you've done a great job with the pose on this one!

Fifty-50 responds:

Yay! Thanks for the review, Toas! I really appreciate your advice! Because it's really rare for anyone to review my art, especially mods.

I'm sorry ...

... but I like this WIP far too much.
Now every moment this comic isn't finished and on the art portal/on a website I'm going to be overwhelmed with misery.

You bastards.

Got some character sheets? They look awesome.

dommi-fresh responds:

bloody hell we better get cracking

Really fun, and an explosively colourful! You've got some nice design work on your characters as well.

The problem is its very cluttered and disorganised. I get the impression the stuff in the background is thrown together; the wing and speaker look out of place.
There's not really much thought behind the colour, either. The girl is wearing reddish browns, yet the guy is white, yellow and blue. Coupled with the random colours in the background, everything just clashes against each other.

Keep up the good work, though.

Flying-pen responds:

Thank you too, and for the letter as well. I'll deffinetly keep going, even thought it'll take some time to get some new art done.

I'll keep your tips in mind. ^^

Needs more turkey

... yeah, JakBaronKing gave you a rightly chosen request!

The dynamic jump and sword, coupled with the turkey and stream of junk food really gets the Red Baron's junkish, ass-kicking character down to a T.

Off topic, but the colours reminds me of a Nando's menu - spicy portugese chicken! Gorgeous palette and textures, chap.

Marks are lost cos it looks like a portion of his abdomen has gone missing, since he's curving over in a chunk suit of armour, but I still love you, jouste.

jouste responds:

a fair review friend!

glad i encapsulated the asskicker well with his junk food scarfing ways. i had to laugh when you said the nando's menu palette. a total accident but quite fitting for a man who likes his grilled chow! ;D

thanks a pile for stopping by with the review and highscore turkey. it is always good to hear from you.

Really cool, Reginald. Favourite bit is the hot red wings juxtaposed against the cold lights from an awesome mask design.

Suggestions would be not to draw your character concepts so that their feet lay flat on the floor. If you check out Jouste's concepts, for example, the view point looks over the feet, rather than head on.

The pose is also lifeless, and doesn't add much to the character concept. The anger you mention in your description isn't coming across - maybe because of the mask, but her pose seems pretty chilled out.

I also think the robe folds are excessive, and doesn't naturally fall over the shape of the body. The belt doesn't look like it's tied round the body; it's more like a decoration.

Hope you do well this week.

Re2deemer responds:

Those wings were pretty much my favourite part to paint, mainly because I used a very Painter-ish program that had those delicious wet brushes.

The feet were a problem for myself too. They were originally covered by cloth, but then I still drew them sticking out. That created the conflict with the background that you noticed and so I just cropped the as much of the lower edge of the image as possible, hoping that no-one's watchful eyes wouldn't notice them :P
Admittedly she was never meant to be Hulk-angry though, more of a apathetic at all the pain she caused/was about to cause.
Guess I keep practicing those folds then!

Cheers for the review, Turkey!
