... this is finished?

Noooo! I thought this was a great looking WIP when I saw it in the [talk] thread :( aww I think you could have done with this/with the character.

As it stands, the hollow eyes and slight slits for the face are great, likewise the mild reddish highlights on the cold grey body, but my favourite bits the long, groping ... "pianist's" fingers. It's a shame you cropped some of the hands out.

Hope you do something more!

MiddleFingerRings responds:

The hands originally had normal size fingers, and fit on the canvas perfectly. When I made them longer, they went off canvas, which I agree is a bit of a shame.

I'll see if I can find a way past this blending layers issue I'm having and make a background, perhaps some thin trees or a delapidated town showing through the mist. Thanks for the review, very helpful!

:(

Not enough dicks, please add some more.

SystemOfAtte responds:

Bat dicks? Lol... But thanks for 7.

Gorgeous patterns

The anatomy of the arms, and the 5p sized nipplets are quite off-putting.

But the tattoo designs more than make up for it. It's a shame you didnt upload a pic with a higher resolution so we can check them out - and not need to refer back to your previous submissions!

Pillowmint responds:

Sorry I'm just uploading stuff with a lower resolution because I've had issues with people stealing my stuff, and anyway; tiny nipples are the best kind ;)

Magnificent

Your choice of colour palette is exemplary, and is only out-shone by the wonderful use of sparkles and the way you've drawn her eyes with a few strokes lines. The viewer has been embedded into the mind of the subject, which you've achieved with the simple use of a white fluffy brush.

This strip surely reminds us of the heart-felt tragedy found in Lichtenstein's Drowning Girl, and can be truly a wonderful modern representation of such a poignant classic.

10/10 - a marvellously moving masterpiece

Seenya responds:

Thanks :'D!

It's a copy

It's a copy of a mural by El Mac on La Brea in LA.

Provide a damn reference, so it doesn't look like you're taking credit for somebody else's work.

Oxycottontail responds:

Thank you! ill keep that in mind next time. this is the first time im posting my art via a art/media network. im not use to the guidelines just yet. but yes el mac is a vary faved of mine and this is a redone version of his mural.

Mm..

Not sure what to make of this.
- Painted in about 3 hours, with a large aray of brushes and textures, shows you're a very organised fellow!
Negative bits:
- I think you could have used the polygonal lasso tool, or some long rectangular brushes, to avoid the curvy edges on your building.
- Whilst you've got a good mix of red/blue/yellow colours, I could only think you would have a red glow on the buildings at dusk, and not when you have a clear blue sky.
- I reckon the neon signs (and text in any image) is better if you download a font and typed it in, rather than drew it in.

Sorry if this review has been a bit specific about the negative points.

Kamikaye responds:

Thx , one of the few useful reviews around :)

I know about the typed font, but I kinda forgot about that here. Even though I have a lot of fonts for such occasions.
