... I'm pretty disappointed with the reviewing community on this.

This game is fun, creative and interesting, and easily a time waster for a few minutes.
And I think the creators also want to have fun and be creative when designing it. Molkman's submissions especially are known for being short and fun.

Present-day Newground users seem to forget that the people making these games are like them, except they are spending some of their spare time being creative, rather than receptive.

@panrafal ... and you're another idiot who hasn't BEEN in the art category.
Gadget SWF's go in the game category, illustrations (png, jpeg, gif) go in the art portal.

Woe betide you know what a review looks like ...

ps. thanks for assembling the collab finally!

Ahh, wish I didn't bother playing.
The medal doesn't work, which for a mouse avoider game is a bit of a let down when you've succeeded in not losing a single life all the way through.

Rather than avoiding the shapes, guys after medals should avoid this game.

ARGH THE POEM PUZZLE!
I had to cheat on this one, and I'm afraid I'd never get it, had I not. It's the mountains and two mentions of three that got me.

Great point and click, as always. New projects on the horizon, no doubt.

Hyptosis responds:

I was a tiny bit worried about mentioning three twice, I probably shouldn't have done that.

Are these zombies meant to be dead celebrities? Cos you might want to do your research on Muhammad Ali and Pamela Anderson.

For what it is, it's a great adventure. It's short, but it's a Ludum Dare submission so it's unsurprising. The pixel art was great, with the same colours used throughout, and the explosion animations were great.

The ending, while no boss battle, was a decent pay off. A simple "YOU WIN! GAME OVER" scenario leaves no impression on the player, and this risk was worth it to get that reaction. From what I can tell from other reviews, it's given your score a knock, but I think you should take that as a "job well done".

Urf

I'm normally Ok with shooters, but I can't play this anymore.

Apart from being frustrating with the number of points lost if you lose a balloon (not to mention the ones you miss gaining at the end of the level),
I am sure that if I don't get an epileptic fit from the tier 3 spread gun, I'll get one from the whizzing scenery/falling bodies of Stage 2.

Graphic look good, and it's a decent game, but sorry, this shooter ain't for me.
