Good god.
The filtering of these images is more horrific than the comic itself.
The filters add nothing to the orginal images, they're just butchered. You really should try to redraw the figures with less detail.

Shiny bean!
I'm glad you were free with th theme, and just took a bean-shaped character! I also like the glossy look on the beans.
The shadow and glow around the bean is pretty messy, though. I'm not sure what the shape of the background that he's imposed against is? Also the thought-bubble looks a bit cramped.
Good work, nonetheless!
TAKE MY BEANS DAMMIT
Review time, hmmm
I like that you've played about with brushes, cos its really given some life to an otherwise plain bg. Hopefully it was quick and painless.
I also like the emphases you made on the text, and the mock perspective on the beans. The face looks similar to a lion's roar, too!
Bit i don't like is that the head doesn't fit with the body, which doesn't fit with the hand, which doesn't fit with the plate ... as though you've drawn everything separately. But I know you don't usually work like that, so there's no need to take much heed.
Oh, and draw circular things like the plate with the circle tool - it avoids the odd distortions you make when you do it free-style.
thanks for the review and tips; yeah I probably should use circle tool but It feels like cheating... the background is just some layered textures; hardly any work at all.

Cool job orn, great to see some more traditional media on the front page.
Can't remember when you started this, so how long did it take to make?
I restarted the whole thing, the first one was all messed up. Overall work time on this one was probably about 16 hours.

It's plain daft when people see the word "abstract" and automatically hate it.
Especially when they say "if I have to make up what it is" when there is clearly a profile of a face in the pic.
Loving the 15 degree streaks going across the canvas, v. dynamic.
Yupo
I'm sure he would love it.
... this is finished?
Noooo! I thought this was a great looking WIP when I saw it in the [talk] thread :( aww I think you could have done with this/with the character.
As it stands, the hollow eyes and slight slits for the face are great, likewise the mild reddish highlights on the cold grey body, but my favourite bits the long, groping ... "pianist's" fingers. It's a shame you cropped some of the hands out.
Hope you do something more!
The hands originally had normal size fingers, and fit on the canvas perfectly. When I made them longer, they went off canvas, which I agree is a bit of a shame.
I'll see if I can find a way past this blending layers issue I'm having and make a background, perhaps some thin trees or a delapidated town showing through the mist. Thanks for the review, very helpful!
:(
Not enough dicks, please add some more.
Bat dicks? Lol... But thanks for 7.
Gorgeous patterns
The anatomy of the arms, and the 5p sized nipplets are quite off-putting.
But the tattoo designs more than make up for it. It's a shame you didnt upload a pic with a higher resolution so we can check them out - and not need to refer back to your previous submissions!
Sorry I'm just uploading stuff with a lower resolution because I've had issues with people stealing my stuff, and anyway; tiny nipples are the best kind ;)
Magnificent
Your choice of colour palette is exemplary, and is only out-shone by the wonderful use of sparkles and the way you've drawn her eyes with a few strokes lines. The viewer has been embedded into the mind of the subject, which you've achieved with the simple use of a white fluffy brush.
This strip surely reminds us of the heart-felt tragedy found in Lichtenstein's Drowning Girl, and can be truly a wonderful modern representation of such a poignant classic.
10/10 - a marvellously moving masterpiece
wow...thanks lol i think your comment and CaptaIn-Ben's both have made my day and made me want to continue this little comment thanks :D
