Cool story, bro.

I'm loving this branching, fun zombie-bromance...
... but when will we get a chance to kiss Sage? :'(

Hyptosis responds:

Haha, nice. ^_^

Thanks BoM and gang, it's great to see this finally come out.

Co-authorship, it's gotta be sucho and poxpower. Mainly cos, out of all of the quality submissions in this thread, I couldn't help but be sick with jealousy by those two. They're both delightfully eclectic, original and interesting, and seamlessly merge with the neighbouring pics

(i'm sure nae told me want time, "i'm not gonna make one cos i suck". yea yea whatever!)

BoMToons responds:

Renaenae underplays her talent too much.

(I'll try and not write a review that's a carbon copy of idiot-monarch's!)

Really fun game. Took me a while to realise I had to mash the buttons, but after that it was plain sailing.

The animation of the eskimo beating things up has to be my favourite thing in this, not to mention unlocking the new creatures.

The crows are a bitch, but in truth I can't fault this game. Great job.

molkman responds:

Glad you enjoyed it.

Fairly addictive.

There's a glitch though. You can't roll '1' on the dice.
Currently my game's stuck on a loop where all 4 players can't get the remaining pieces home because they're 1 space away.

Nextigen responds:

oops :(
That was a bug, now things are fixed and up and running. Looking forward to hear new bugs :( from you :D. Kepp it up

Finally on NG

Awesome that you've finally brought this to NG; loved solving the cryptic puzzles with my mate and high-fiving when we got 'em done.

If you decide to post up #2, I'd be a very happy man.

30nightsofviolence responds:

Thanks for the review! I'll probably post IBOC2 at a later date. Thanks again!

No ta.

"4. Escape: The First Room must have been played in order to beat this game"
No point in being forced to beat your previous submissions in order to play this ugly game.

ODD-1 responds:

Well, it CAN be done without that, but you'd need to be really smart

edit: Wait, did you actually play it?... Also its kinda common sense that the first in a series should be done before others for a full understanding of the others

OK game

Shame that the global timer ruins a perfectly good game. Doesn't need to be there.

tudway responds:

sorry, but its the scoring system i chose for the game.

Fun game

I enjoy playing this game, because some of the graphics are nice (think its pretty groovy you've got other people to contribute to the sprites), the change of weapons makes its interesting, the variety of attackables and their strengths/weaknesses ... I could go on.

Not keen on the repetitiveness of block-slash-slash-slashSLASHslaSLASH combo tho, seems to be the only strategy you can make, and the hitting characters off the edge of the screen is a bit lame and time-consuming.

After its 1 year anniversary, I'd love if this was done again. Although I reckon some combos from NG Rumble could be applied, and rather than knock-back killing make it so enemies are more prone to pass on the more hits they take after death, and its more focused on the speed and variety of hits (button spam away).

MindChamber responds:

good suggestion. we do have an idea for a more complex game similar to baron.
with grapples and leveling up abilities.. will be some time tho !

One button control

It's not very interactive, or that exciting :/
I don't think there was significant promotion of your pretend product either.

Armagon1986 responds:

I'm afraid it all came down to lack of time. I was going to have a system of control where you could move your character back and forth across the screen, and also crouching (to avoid a planned vulture obstacle). I hope to add more to the game in future.

Not bad at all

Never caught it before, but Havay's Seek and Destroy was rather ace.

Collab wise, I was expecting a dodgy slide show, but you've done a great job with the selection menu, so I'll salute you for that!

Everyone says you need to show the music, which I can agree with, but it'll also jack up the file size. Maybe some short sound clips would work.

Other thing is maybe giving free choice on songs :s I don't know if they were important to you, or if you tried for free range of music, but there wasn't any dance music, and I was dead lucky to get the one I most wanted!

Great thing about music is that there'll always be a song that'll be proper epic to people and conjures up imagery, even differing person to person!

Overall a decent art collab for sure, defo fun to do.

Sam responds:

Thanks for the amazing review. But just to say - even having samples would add an extra 2mb weight. The thing is, it wasnt about the song - but the TITLE of the song.

Thanks for the menu feedback. ANd thanks for taking part.
